About me

Francesco Mussini is an art director and designer who helps brands to develop their identity and unleash their potential. The engine that drives his days is creativity: design, cooking, music and drawing are some of his passions. The need for communication, the dogged pursuit of beauty and the strenuous study of balance are what led him to make this professional life choice.

After attending NABA Fine Arts Academy, where he had the chance to work with brands like Benetton and Porsche, Francesco left for Switzerland where he did an internship at Publicis Groupe in Lausanne. There he’s been able to delve into the role of art director and followed in all its phases the creation of an advertising campaign for Jacobs Coffee.

Back in Italy, he started working as a freelancer, carrying out projects of brand identity, UI/UX and advertising. His work has spanned across a wide range of clients, like Golden Goose, KFC and New York University. Francesco is also the creative director of A Fabric Affair, a fair and workshop held in New York City and Los Angeles where Italian fabrics and yarns producers show their collections and connect with American clothing manufacturers.

From 2024, he has taken on the role of senior art director for Lateral, an award-winning advertising agency based in Milan. At Lateral, he is instrumental in shaping the creative vision and strategic direction for international campaigns. Major clients include KFC Italia, Pitti Immagine, and Save the Children.
